Help How could i purchase apps from android market?

I have a rooted X8 but i cannot find any purchased app for my phone in the market?
How can i buy them?

If your location is not on the paid apps list then I don't think you can. This isn't a fault of the Sony it is between google and the powers that be in your country (or country of purchase of the handset)

What does it say under software info? Maybe the phone was imported from a region that doesn't support Android... a lot of the middle Eastern countries don't.

It could just be that the apps you are looking for are not available in Greece. Do you not have any paid applications available at all?

Forgot that the X8 is different to my X10, the 10 shows you which country they are from.

Just looking at the 8 but the only thing I have on there is File system version says world in the software info.

Ok looking at the list, you can sell paid apps from Greece but you still can't buy them from within Greece! You need to look at the lower half of the list.

There may be a way to change the location within your firmware but that is far more technical knowledge than I have. You could try google searching or have a look on here or XDA developers for rooting/debranding etc.
