HTC Hero on Three...

Hey guys... I've had my HTC Hero for about a month now and love it but I cant seem to root it therefore not being able to upgrade/change my ROM. I have tried all possible was of doing this (modaco, theulucke). I have sat up till the break of dawn and i am going crazy as to why I cant. I'm on 3 and build no stars from 2.73**** and I am on Firmware 1.5.....PLEASE HELP ME

You need to use the Gold Card method, quite alot of info around about it.

XDA developers have a thread, if you just google "HTC Hero Gold Card" it should give you several pages of info.

It's a bit finnicky but following step by step and it does work.

I had the same problem when I first got mine too.
