yes the best thing to do is use your warranty and get a replacement, what causes this to happen varies, like have you drop your phone recently, but the screen didnt crack, could be defective when you first got the phone, or a little water or moister got under the screen somehow and got to the slot where the digitizer connects might been from phone getting heated up by being in a hot place or phone been overheating and cause it to sweat somehow.
