ICS on Telus sucks

So after the 6 months of waiting I finally get Ice Cream Sandwich on my Telus Galaxy S II X. I installed KIES to get it and the software version is 4.0.3

But its crap! It looks nothing like the official ICS pictures. The main reason I wanted it was because of its sleek interface, however the Telus release has hardly changed anything. The Message, Phone Dialer and lock screen interface are the same as the honeycomb release.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything I can do about it?

Unfortunately what you are seeing is ICS though TouchWiz which is almost indistinguishable between GB and ICS except for the menus. You should try the Apex or Nova launchers for a closer to pure ICS screen.

To completely remove TouchWiz you'll need to root And flash a custom rom.
