N1 because all the apps from the sense UI will soon be available in .apk format, which mean we'll get the fast updates and still be able to choose which aspect of the sense we need. Win win for us.
Nexus just for the noise cancelling - can testify standing almost next to a bagpiper on westminster bridge yesterday trying to locate the rest of my camera club lol..
Well there are other carriers that uses GSM in the U.S., but they're below par. It's really about options. I don't mind getting into a contract with Verizon to get the Nexus One cheaper--that 20% off my monthly bill makes it worthwhile.
Honestly, though, the Desire does not have anything that would make me want to wait or dump my Nexus. When I had my G1 and MyTouch, I was always looking for the next best ROM. Now, with the Nexus, I have everything I need/want and it's still stock.
That's a rare thing for me. No, it's not perfect, but it's close enough to keep me happy as is and I'm impressed just for that.
the only reason why i would vote n1 is cause all the problems we are having now, hopefully will be worked out expeditiously. the desire is just coming out, and will probably have its own set of problems to work through. no "sense"(haw, haw) in trading in one set of problems for another, imho.
