Help instructions to update OS & htc sense

i'm a newbie to andriod, however i cant update my software and i may need instructions on how to update..

pls advice...

Why can't you update? What's preventing you from doing so?

To check if there is an OTA (Over The Air) update available Menu > Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check now.

However, the availability of OTAs depends on each individual network provider, or, if you have an unbranded phone, when HTC releases it according to your IMEI.
