Is there an app that prevents you from going off of your network?

Hi there, looking for an app that will stop me from calling when I'm not inside my network so I don't get overcharged. My phone doesn't warn me so it'd be really helpful.

On my Android 2.3 Sprint phone, I can control that with what I thought was standard, built-in Android functionality, but it maybe a Sprint-thing. For me, I hit the settings button, then go to "Call settings". There is a "Call Guard" option with a checkbox about whether or not to warn about roaming. Is there no such option for you?
