No doubt. I am just wondering if Randomblame will continue with JellyTime for the DHD.
i think that he will, he said he would bring 4.2 to dhd very soon.

The talk started when we noticed him ordering two Nexus 4 phones on the XDA Nexus 4 thread earlier today. Same question is posted on XDA, so I guess we will hear from Randomblame soon.
Well, Mike who made Android Revolution was churning out kinda regular updates until he got his One X....
But is Randomblane's JT JB the best JB rom?
Randomblame has released a AOSP 4.2 port for the DHD. Not really a working ROM. No calls, web browser does not work, SD card won't mount, but it is confirmation that he is working on it. Unfortunately, it looks like instead of modifying and building on JellyTime, it's pretty much a whole new ROM.
I was hoping someone could check if JellyTime R28 has a:
a) /system/etc/init.d folder
b) a vdd_levels file in /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/
TIA
a) yes
b) yes
why, what are those things?
Someone at XDA was asking me why I don't write scripts for Jelly Bean ROM's. When I installed JellyTime last I think it did not have an init.d folder, meaning I could not write start up scripts to modify settings and it did not have a vdd file so I could tweak voltages. My recollection could be wrong.
Is it possible to ask for a list of the files in the init.d folder?
Basically, if the ROM supports init.d scripts I can write a file to set processor frequencies, voltages, governors and schedulers at boot. Apps can do this.
What the scripts allow is to fine tune governor settings.
For the Blackout and ViperDHD ROM's, I have three different variations of the smartassV2 governor.
If the folder and file are present, it means I can probably write script for JellyTime.
Maybe best I just flash the ROM again.
i don't know, gps work just fine for me..what recovery you use?Hey folks, have been using r23 for a while and generally very happy with it. Just flashed r28 (full wipe of everythign first) and found GPS wouldn't work at all - settings showed GPS used for location, but no app using location could find it. GPS icon on taskbar never showed up either. Restart didn't help.
Any ideas folks...?
np, here you are..
but I'm going to ask you a favor, when you flash JT and fix those thinks, tel me step by step what to do, i want to try it too..talking about R28..
Clockwork mod, full erase, flashed twice now with same error. Error is already logged with Jellytime issues, have added comment and +1.
Would ext4 make any difference?
Thanks. Cannot see the images though.
Applying my tweaks is easy. Flash in recovery to apply. Flash in recovery to return to stock. I also have a do it yourself guide.
Voltage Tweaks on the way in 8-9 hours. Just testing stability.

and this will work on JT too?
Yup. For JellyTime, like aospX, all I can do are voltage tweaks. For Sense ROM's I can fine tune the governors too.
The built it performance utility is AOKP ROM's conflict with my scripts.
