Keep getting warning message when texting

Using messaging app that came with droid (motorola first version verizon). Recently got a new factory refurbished as the old one died and now everytime I send more than 50 text messages in an hour i get a warning message that says something like "sms messaging many text messages being sent are you sure you want to send or cancel" and i have to hit send before it will send the message and it does this for EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE!
is there a way to get rid of this? I text ALOT and really need it to go away it is making me crazy
