Market Place

Hi all,

Recieved my Desire today and I must say Im very impressed.

I am having trouble connecting to the market place.

I have created a google account but when I enter username & password through the Desire It says "your phone needs to communicate with the google servers to set up - may take 5 mins" after about 1 min the phone goes into standby. When I power back out of standby I get message saying "You dont have a network connection"

I am connected to my wifi and able to surf the web on my desire.

Am I doing something wrong?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Go to settings and turn data on

EDIT - Just noticed you said you were connected to wifi. Tried rebooting?
