Help navigation glitch

ok, so when im navigating through 'google maps navigator beta', it will randomly stop tracking me. the little arrow starts a loop where it slowly travels a bit, and then jumps back a few 100 yards. highly annoying cause it doesnt tell you anything happened, and ill just keep driving like everything is ok, next thing you know, your 5 miles past your exit. wtf. never noticed this on any other phones. does it have to do with the accelerometer/compass issue?

I'm not sure, but you may lose the navigation when you lose your 3g/4g for a short time.

check the following:
- Cache Settings on google maps are on and
- standalone gps services is checked on the RAZR itself.
