Hi All, I just purchased a 'broken' HTC Eris from ebay. Says that it won't go past boot screen. I'm a Linux user/lover and can't wait to have it (Linux) in my pocket + a better smart phone than the one I currently use (BB Storm). I'm hoping to repair the Eris, but if it is truly broken I'll just have to scrap it for parts and find another. I really like the site (here) and am hoping to find/give help in the near future
