Partial Month Billing

For my partial month billing it was only five days, and they are charging me 7.74 for the service plan, 5 for the messaging, and 30 for the data plan. How is it reasonable to charge me 30 bucks for the data plan for only five days? If i call customer service will they do anything about this?

Are you sure you're reading your bill correctly? They should not have charged you the full amount. Any partial days within a data plan will be prorated.

im only reading the bill estimate best buy gave me, and it shows in their estimate that they are charging me the full amount for data, but the service plan is prorated.

It sounds to me like your bill will populate online in just a few days. I would log on to verizonwireless.com and check. You could also dial *611 from your phone and ask. I've just always been a "do it yourself" kinda guy tho....

yeah well i was charged per MB instead of having the unlimited data plan, so i called and they refunded me $50, which was the charge, hassle free, I'm sure they'll hook you up too, give them a call.

Bear in mind that what you're looking at is just an estimate by a third party reseller that has no insight into billing. Either check your account online or wait for the paper bill, and the amount should be prorated.
