Play Store won't downloaded purchased apps

I was using a ROM on my Droid Bionic when i downloaded the app iris for free, and then from inside the app, purchased the ad free version. I had to go back to stock and when I downloaded iris off the market again, it wasn't the paid version, so I went inside the app to get the ad free version, Play Store said, "Item already purchased: You have already purchased this item or the purchase is still pending." And it won't let me download, or even give me the option to repurchase. How can I get the ad free version of this app back?

Have you tried clearing the market data or saw if background data is enabled?
