program developing app

not sure if this would be the right place to post this, if not please let me know! anyways to start im a computer science student so naturally im developing java, c++, etc, programs. I was wondering if there is any type of app that would allow me to develope and run such programs on a andriod tablet. im getting quite tired of lugging around my laptop all day. i realize it takes quite alot of processing power to do this but, some of these tablets are quite powerful. thanks for your help!
