Root Gs2 At&t Help.

Ive rooted my i777 At&t (Straight talk) (Uses AT&T towers) (Phone says AT&T on the top) Gs2. with shostock2. I can connect to wifi just fine and serf the web. but data don't work. When im off wifi i cannot use internet. ;\
I can how ever receive and send texts phone calls.
;( i dunno what is wrong..
Under phone status it says..
Network: Home
Signal Strength: -89 dBm 12 asu
Mobile network type: HSDPA:9
Servive stat: In service.
Roaming: Not roaming.
Mobile network state: Disconnected.
When i go to my "Data" area..
Use packet data is checked.
Data roaming, Unchecked.
My wife has the same phone as I.
So i copyed her APN stuff.
Not sure what to put under Network mode. so it's on..
GSM/WCDMA (Auto Mode)
When i click Network operators it sits there FOREVER searching.
Some times it shows two Home icons i can click on. But still no internet.
Build number of Shostock2 XWLPD-Shostock2-v3.1.1
Kernal ver. 3.0.36 Siyah-v3.4.3-mswap+

I have done this before rooting my phone. Do I need to do this again?

Not sure. I haven't used the i777 outside of AT&T. But, it can't hurt to check because a large percentage of internet/mms issues seem to be due to invalid APN settings.

Hmmm... odd problem because I don't see any settings that would indicate that it's not working. I would make a nandroid backup and try updating to the latest ShoStock to see if that fixes any issues.
