Help Spontaneous pin lock screen

Hi guys,

Lately my Legend (update 2.1-update1) has started to pin lock without interaction. It's been followed by a few different errors but now it only seems to be a result of 'android.process.acore' failing.

I have tried removing the cache from both the Contacts and HTC Contacts instances without luck.

Lately I've installed and removed a few apps from the market and wondering if that could be the problem. If so, can I reboot the device and expect that to fix the issue?

Anything I need to pay particular attention to when factory resetting?
