Root Super CID

Has anyone changed over to Super CID to run another carriers ROM? Any adverse effects to changing it to 11111111 just in case you would in the future?

Edit: Here's a link to better explain it, just wondering if anyone here has done it. [MOD] Super CID Cmdline | Verizon HTC One (M8) | XDA Forum

until more RUUs come out for full conversion to other variants, there is not much use for superCID. it is not needed for rom flashing in recovery, only for installing different firmware or full RUUs.

also be aware that this is really only for GSM devices. you CANNOT convert a sprint or vzw device to anything else.

way back, there were some unexplained bricks when folks tried to OTA with supercid,so i would avoid it. if a person wants to convert a t mobile firmware to european or developer, the safer option is to change the CID to that CID,and not supercid.

hope that sufficiently answers your question :)
