Help Swype won't swype

this has only started happening ever since i started
to use Nonsensikal about 2 weeks ago. (used to be
on xtrROM and before that un-rooted).

every once and a while, i'll try to type something,
so i start swyping, but after i finish a word, the
whole keyboard will get outlined in blue for a sec,
then go back to normal, and no word will show up.
if i try to swype again, the same thing happens.

the only way i've found to return it to normal was
to switch to a different keyboard, and then back
to swype.

has anyone else come across this?

Uncheck it from the keyboard settings. Uninstall swype and its installer. Reboot phone. Download fresh installer and then run. Worked for me

i tried something similar to that, i uninstalled both, didn't reboot,
didn't download a new installer. i just installed again after uninstall.
i'll try this method though and post my results.

UPDATE: just completed the suggested method.
will post back if it happens again or not within a week's time.

so just yesterday, it happened again.

i tried to swype, and i got the blue box around the keyboard.

i had to switch to a different keyboard and then back to swype.

I am having no luck with swype. Does anyone know where to find a reliable download?
I have an xperia x10
