Help T-Mobile insurance rate hike for Note II.

I wouldn't pay $47/month for insurance with a $175 deductible for a $600 phone. If the $30 prepaid plan works for your usage then I'd go for that without a doubt. Just be careful for the next few months and it'll pay for itself.

I take it you didn't buy the phone in the last month but if you did, SquareTrade offers a 2-year warranty with $99 deductible for $125.
