I am having trouble getting call by voice to work.
1. I press the Phone icon.
2. I press the microphone icon next to the "Call" icon.
3. The "Speak now" prompt comes up and I say "Call Carla." Carla is a contact I have saved under People, and there is only one number for the contact, a mobile number.
4. A "Voice search" display comes up showing five choices, "Call Carla, call Karla, call Carlo, call Carlos, and call Carl a" (this is stupid).
5. I select "call Carla" and press the "Call" button.
6. The Droid displays "unknown."
What am I doing wrong? or better yet, how do I place a voice activated call to a contact I have reated? On my Samsung Smooth, I said, "Call Carla," it asked "Did you say call Carla?," I said "Yes," and it dialed the number.
