I thought there was a way to contact HTC and have them replace it for you, for a fee of course

Someone correct me if I am wrong and if I am not does anyone know how to go about doing this, for future reference.

Wow replacing the outer screen isnt nearly as difficult as I thought it would be.

I never thought this would happen.... Dropped my phone today and the screen cracked towards the bottom, it has like 3-4 lines running about halfway up the screen. The screen appears to be intact and the outer shell thing is what's damaged. Naturally, I don't have insurance so does anyone have any advice? Btw, I'm a poor college student.
