Help Why is my Samsung Galaxy 4" player's battery dying so fast?

It never used to die this fast. I've had it less than a year, and don't use it all that often. A few times a week usually, but now, even with using it like that, I have to charge it almost daily. Is there a way of replacing the battery?

Maybe it's not dying, it just need to be recalibrated:

Have you installed any app that would coincide with your problem. Some apps like to change settings and or use the internet.

Wifi drains the battery if you leave it on.

I use a task killer and kill everything every time I shut it down. If I don't my battery goes fairly quickly.

Settings/device has a battery use area that might give you a hint as to what is going on.
