Just wondering how many are still holding onto hope and waiting on the Inc. I almost gave up hope. Called and started the process of canceling my Inc order for a X. But then just came to the conclusion and that werid shaped back and physical buttons just arnt impressive. Now shipping has been pushed back to Aug 5. Man its going to be a long month as I just recently ordered. But will be well worth the wait. Dont give up!

I have waited way to long for the Incredible to go with the X. I'm with you though mine should be shipped out about the same time. The Verizon rep. said that it is possible we might be seeing earlier shipping dates after the 15th, hopefully, but I am not counting on it.

currently, I think if I can get root, I'll keep my inc. However, if I can't get it to work in the next week, provided that you can disable the blur features on the X (and if it's not too heinously huge for me) I'll probably switch.

Something that made me rage is that "Share Contacts" via barcode scanner is broken because of Sense.

I am not now, nor will I ever, switch to the X.

My est. ship for the DINC is 7/16, the X will be out 7/15. I am just fine waiting an extra day to get the phone I actually want. Hell, if I were just ordering today with an estimated ship of 8/5 I would STILL wait for the DINC over the X.

I just don't like it. I much perfer the DINC. And since I only upgrade every 2 years or so, I would rather wait a little longer to get a phone that I will be happy with for 2 years.

You could, cancel INC order, get DX. Order another INC and hope it comes in the 30 trial period on DX... That's what I would do if I didn't have mine yet..

That is basically what I did. Except a in store manager cancelledmy order due to a missunderstanding on his part. At first I was pissed. Now I will just play with a dx first and it only cost me 12 days longer wait if I get the dx on the 15th.

Try your nearest Best Buy. That's where I bought my phone. No waiting 4 weeks for mine to come in.

Yeah thats where i bought mine. I actually almost returned it the last day of my 30 days. The cell signal was driving me insane. But i didnt return it and im happy i didnt. I did a lot of research on the X and i like it but i really love the shape of the Inc and sense. This is the best phone i have ever owned and i plan on keeping it for the next 2 years. :)

I had seriously considered canceling and switching until I got to play with an X recently at a local store who had a demo and found it wasn't quite for me. It is a pretty sexy machine though. If I hadn't seen the Dinc first, it probably would of been a must have. The Dinc just does it for me. I then went and ordered accessories for the Dinc to keep me from changing my mind again. I ordered 6/14 and see a lot shipping for that order date so hopefully I am at the end of my wait.
