I've been lurking around this forum almost since I ordered my DInc 6/22 online. Due to a mishap involving my palm centro and a cup of coffee, I've been using my husband's old motorola Q. You. Have. No idea how much I NEED that DInc!

So...according to an email I received from VW, my ship-by date is 7/20. I'm so hoping it will be earlier than that. Don't think I could have gotten through the last few weeks with you guys. I've already started calling 611.

Unless I read it wrong it was phones that were supposed to SHIP by 6/28 that were pushed back. Not phones ORDERED before then (6/28). Could be wrong though but I remember reading the word ship not order. I ordered 6/14 and never received one or got a notification I was gonna get one.

I think you read right. When I was on the phone with verizon last week (dial *611 and then pressed "0") the guy told me that if my order is delivered late then I would get a $25 gift card. I'm pretty sure he said this applied to all customers right now, however, the deliveries are coming in early so I'm not worried!

Just wanted to post this just in case someone else here does happen to get a late shipment... call verizon and ask for a gift card! It doesn't hurt to ask and the worst they can say is sorry, no.

Now that a lot of 6/18's and a 6/19 went out, I am now calling 611 and doing the Fed Ex trick over and over again.

I'm not going to get anything useful done until I get my shipping notification. Then I probably won't get anything done for a couple of days after receiving it because I will be too busy playing with the phone!

This phone might ruin my life. My social life, at least.

You might not need a fedex trick, email verizon and ask about your order and if it is still scheduled to be shipped by "insert whenever they told you."

When I did this, they gave me my Location and Order number, which combined, were my tracking number.

I've called twice so far, and both times the person on the other end of the phone was just as excited as anyone in this thread because they too had DIncs. As soon as I mentioned my order for a DInc they started rambling about how awesome the phone is. Once I talked to Don, and then Stacy on another day. lol
