pairing code? with droid and PC??

Trying to pair Droid with PC to use Bluetooth File Transfer app and having helluva time. sometimes I get it paired and then PC refuses connectiong when I try to access computer from Droid.

Is there a default pairing code for Droid or can I use the 'no code' option?

Usually 0000

I had this issue previously, and 0000 and 1234 did not work. I got it to work by starting on the PC, selecting "Connect to device", and then entering my own PIN (whatever you choose) on the PC. Then go to the device, try to pair, and enter the same PIN.

yeah, that worked (had already done it, but thanks)

BUT, another choice offered was connect with NO pins and wondering if any reason not to do that.
