so i asked them on 6/29 to confirm GG on the X. yes, shortly thereafter they confirmed it to some droid forum...i know it has it.

anyway, here's the response that i just received...2 weeks after asking. i mean, WTF?

"[FONT=&quot]Thanks for reaching out to Motorola. I’ve reviewed your e-mail and I’m ready to help.

If you're referring to the "red eyes" that appears on the screen when you turn it on. Then, in that case the Droid X has that as well.

We hope that you find this information useful and look forward to assisting you in the future."

Ali Haji Shiek is sitting in India not capable of understanding a &*cking word we are saying to him. My support help from Motorola on the original Droid was for *hit. Hire some Americans and train them on your product you cheap bastards!

This reminds me of the time I called GE customer service for something and the call was answered by a man with a very heavy indian accent. He said "thank you very very much for calling GE. My name is Bob."
I was like yeah right, your name isnt Bob!

It's a bit amusing to see how people lied on their resume about being fluent in English. But it's depressing to realize that, right now, Motorola executives are scratching their head about the complaints that the Droid X is too large to fit into a locked shoe. (Bootloader, although that "translation" is probably more accurate than what's actually being sent up the chain.)
