[Fixed]Default sms prog

Hi all,
I just installed Handcent sms 2.9.18 on my Hero which is alot better than the default sms prog, But i don't know how to stop the default sms prog displaying in the notification bar. It continues to display a msg as unread even when it has been, unless you use clear notifications everytime. I have tried clicking on the sms icon in the notifaction bar it takes me to my sms msg but still remains. If any one has any ideas please let me know.

If you go to the Default sms app -> Press Menu -> Settings -> You can disable Notifications and Vibrate by Un-ticking the Boxes hence you will not have that Icon appear by the Default sms app :)

**your default sms app is the one that came with the hero as standard click that. If vibrate is already ticked , Please Un-tick Vibrate first then Notifications. {Thanks to Oxomcfc for this tip} ;)
