Random Texts Being Sent

I think this is a fairly new issue with the Eris but I noticed today that the phone had been sending random blank texts every time I turned the phone off. I took it to verizon, they did a hard reset and said it was fixed. I stayed in the store 10 minutes after he told me it was fixed and I started getting texts from people asking why I sent a blank text.

Verizon gave me a new phone... lets see how this one works.

Stupid techs. Tell them to read their own tech bulletin.

Known issue, being fixed with the 12/11 software upgrade. Go into your messaging program and delete the "undelivered" messages.

The issue will stop.

The stock messaging application sometimes gets these "undelivered" messages stuck in the outbox, which it keeps trying to send whenever you power cycle the phone.

Thanks, I am glad somebody else had this problem. People were starting to get extremely annoyed with me for sending blank text message upon blank text message. Problem has been fixed though!
