Accessories I need a good desktop cradle/charger.

My wife needs to charge her Hero at work so I need to find an easy to use desk charger, one that is easy to get the phone in and out of. She doesn't sync or connect to her computer at all so just a charger would be fine.

I ordered two charging cradles off Amazon.com for our Hero's and I think they were about $24 a piece including shipping. They work great.

Just use a USB mini - You likely have a dozen of them sitting around your house.
Just Close the box when it asks to sync.....Simple and Free

^ Agreed. It's so easy to connect/disconnect a mini USB cable, so a cradle is probably overkill. And mini USB cables are plentiful. The only issue is that if you want to synchronize, you have to get one that will support the HTC Hero. Generic ones won't sync, but they'll charge the battery.


Btw, you can get these chargers that will recharge the battery directly, outside of the phone. Really handy if you're someone who uses more than one battery with their phone. Obostore sells one. I bought it along with an order for a 2000mAh Andida battery.

I just bought the Seidio Innodock Jr. from Amazon to use on my bedside table. It works so well I'm buying another for my computer desk. The design allows docking with most cases.
