Help Lanscape Mode

How come the vibrant does not support landscape mode on the home screens?
Sprint variation of the Galaxy S is able to do this.
Froyo ?

It would be a nice feature to have, but the main reason is becasue there is no keyboard. If you notice, the phones that display home screens in landscape mode are those with keyboards. Slide, Evo, Epic.

Fail. But i honestly dont see the point in having landscape mode.. I use ADW and landscape turned off. To each is his own though

It's just annoying when you are using an app in landscape and switching back to the vertically oriented homescreen.
Should have made it an option or tie it to the existing option to lock the orientation.

Do the keyboard phones also have the option for the on-screen keyboard ?
If so, what does the landscape mode on the Sprint variation look like with the soft keyboard open ?
Hard keyboard alone seems like a dumb reason to not let vibrant users have a landscape homescreen.

I assumed he meant "fail" from Samsung for not including this.

try launcher pro. then you can turn on enable auto-rotation when the phone is rotated.
