Help strange problem that just developed

Ok well I just realised that my phone is dying rather quickly now and come to find out, my phone is not going to sleep for some reason. Never had this problem after 2.2 update and all the sudden it happens. Last thing I downloaded from market wad pdanet. Any ideas to what could be going on?

I just downloaded the paid version of Easytether. I completely killed 2 batteries while tethered watching Netflix. Never had this happen with either free version from PdaNet or Easytether. The trickle charge was always able to keep up with the demand on the battery. Any guesses why the free version would run circles around the paid version???

Edit:
User error in this case. I tripped over the tether last night and managed to pull the power supply from my USB hub. Hub is now powered up and all is well.

Well did the hard reset and still having the same problems. I also added the apps i had saved to brain app. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

I use facebook to sync my contacts, but i do it manually. I also have the auto sync turned off anyway. Its a strange problem. Now i turned the phone off again and back on and now its going back to sleep. This is the strangest problem ive ever seen with this phone. Im going to check it out for a few days and ill update this thread to see if it does it again.
