Why would you post something like that without the slightest hint of research?

To the original poster:

SIM cards are used for GSM frequencies.

It looks like India has some CDMA infrastructure and operates on the 800 MHz band, which the Droid X operates on. So it's possible that you can use it, but you'd have to speak to a CDMA service provider to figure out how to allow the phone onto their network.

For instance, in the US, I call Verizon and give them the ID of my phone, and they mark it as my phone in their network. You would have to do something similar.

Suggest me any as good as droid x under at&t or t-mobile.

If you're looking for a "high end" smart phone then you can look at the Samsung Galaxy S phones for both companies...At&t has the iPhone 4 as well...T-Mobile also has the G2. There are a lot of good Android phones on both carriers...Just make sure they are fully compatible in your country (even though they are GSM).

You're right and I apologize to OP. But it is impossible to use the dx with a sim card so I didn't lie. I shouldn't have posted an answer tho without looking into it more. Good luck getting it verified on a network there. I suggest contacting any cdma carriers there and asking if they can activate a cdma phone with the hex or id number.
