Root Uninstall Voodoo?

yup, but first id try using root explorer or adb to make a disable_lagfix file and putting it in sdcard/voodoo and rebooting the phone. but make sure you have the voodoo uninstaller on your sdcard already from the above thread.

it can take 5-40 minutes to reboot/disable voodoo, dont batt pull.

if it goes longer than that, pull the batter and power on, it *may* finish unistalling and boot fine.

if that works flash a nonvoodoo kernel, let it boot and then delete the disable_lagfix file, and ur good to go.

after i installed the 2E fix that fixes the failure to validate issue, i got what looked to be complete backups of my then current kernel / rom. i saw it backing up all the directories and files.

i have CWM & ROM Manager with its boot update.zip on the sdcard, couldnt i just restore one of my backups and be done with it ?
