Confused about the Skype Applications

I had Skype on my iPhone (I now, for 2 days only, have the Droid Incredible). I see that there's a different Skype application for this Droid...Skype Mobile. I just had plain old regular Skype with my iPhone.

I downloaded both applications and yesterday they both started ringing at the same time lol. When I tried to answer the normal Skype app it disconnected.

Anyway, which one am I supposed to use? Today I opened the Skype Mobile and it said I couldn't use it with a WiFi connection...data only and it asked if I'd like to turn off the WiFi. No!! I prefer using Skype on WiFi, not data.

So...after all that blah, blah, blah... which Skype Application works with this phone, especially the WiFi?

Go download the App from the App store from Skype, not the crippled Verizon version. I too found out this problem the first time I tried to call Via Wifi at a Cafe, but have since downloaded the App from the store, NOT the preloaded Verizon version. I now have many conversations from my favorite cafe here in Seville w/ friends and family back home in the states w/o a problem.
Wifi works fine w/ the App store version

I had both lol. I just deleted the plain Skype (blue with white S) because I thought that was the one that didn't work with Droid. That's the one I had on my iPhone.

Okay, so I don't want the Skype Mobile (white with the blue S).???

Oy, I'll have to say, I like this phone, but the iPhone was more user friendly.

I just want to be able to use skype with wifi. lol

I'm still having issues. I put on the blue with the white S version of Skype (not the Skype Mobile). I got a call today and when I tried to answer it, it just kept ringing. I hit answer and then it started trying to dial the person who was calling me. I'm really getting pissed off about this. The whole reason I got a smartphone was so I can Skype talk. wth? :(

I would say disconnect and take off your user information you have w/ the Verizon one (Blue S), because you probably have a battle going on between the two. Most people usually have Keep me Signed In option on, which if you have both like that will cause a battle. I also use Launcher Pro Plus and hide the Verizon icon version so I can't get confused, because unless you have your phone rooted, the Verizon Skype app cannot be deleted.
