Ill never use the official twitter client until you can edit retweets.

A lot of negative comments on the market.

I don't like the way links & twitter names are the same colour & you can't click on them.

Don't like it at all.

you should use the backup on ASTRO file manager if you dont already. I have 1.03 & 1.04 available. I usually back up once a month, it just good to be able to roll back a wack update.


What bothers the crap out of me for this app is the inability to save position on the timeline. I do not like reading tweets out of order. They used to have at least the new tweets marks..now i dont think it does that anymore.

Tweetcaster is still my primary Twitter app, but I really like the updated official Twitter app so far. A few more revisions and it will be near perfect.

It started for my yesterday. I was still getting my @ replies though. I ended up removing the app and re-installing and it works now.

Can you please tell me where the refresh option is, because I cannot find it and my tweets are stuck at the point where I installed Twitter. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it found new tweets, but has not moved on since.

Pull down on the timeline while it's at the top and it should refresh.

I want the refresh button back, the scrolling down is annoying, more so he silly sound effects when you do it that can't be turned off.

You can, in fact, edit retweets with the latest version of twitter for android. Hit Retweet and it gives you the option to either directly RT it or Quote it.

I'm getting a bit more used to it now but the amount of data it stores is ridiculous.
