I have my screens all set up using launcher pro, I want to change a few things around or just start from scratch. Is there way to save my screens and then start from scratch? Or do I need to save it then remove all my widgets and start again that way? I want to be able to go back to it if I dont like what I come up with. Thanks

When I was using PandaHome and switching between my MyTouch stock launcher screen and PandaHome; everything was saved on both. If you are wanting to change the way just launcher pro looks you'd lose what you've got. You could however always take screen shoots of each screen and if you want to go back to that then you have the screen shots to refer to.

Maybe I'm totally misunderstanding the situation... but in my launcherpro prefs there's an option to 'backup' homescreens and settings - and another option to restore. I did pay for the 'pro' version, so that might make a difference, but it sounds like it may be what you're looking for? Sounds like you could save your current setup, experiment, and than restore your old setup if you aren't happy.

Edit - I've never tried either of these functions, so ymmv

There is an option to save the settings in LauncherPro+ (and I think there was in the free version too). Not tried restoring with this yet. However, it does warn that it doesn't save the widgets. I don't know if that means it doesn't save the actual settings within the widgets or if it doesn't save which widget is where. I think some of the widgets might also have a save function.

Perhaps try saving in LP+, saving in the widget setup if possible and a couple of screenshots to show where everything was? Can you do screenshots on an Android?

Hope that helps

Yes you can take screen shots on an adroid. There are a couple of okay apps that do it or a way to get to it from the phone itself (tho i can't remember how to do it).
