Help HTC Weather not updating location...

First of all, check that your sync is active go to:
Settings>General sync settings. and check on the Auto-sync.

Second of all, check that you're allowing your phone to communicate your location. go to:
Settings>Location. and check on (Use wireless networks). you can activate also the GPS option if you need so. This will consume your battery more than the first option. stick with the networks because, you don't need a precise location for the weather.

At the end. if the options above are on and you still have the same issue. check your weather app. if there is an option allowing you to sync automatically. usually all the apps do by default.

Wish will help anyone who has the same problem.

Thanks for the reply, I had already checked what you suggested before posting. It still won't update my location. All the other apps that I have that can find my location are working fine, it's just the HTC weather.

I had the exact same problem, it would always show the same location but all my other programs worked fine. Eventually I had to do a factory reset, but I only backed up my sms/mms and contacts I re downloaded all my apps. now it works like new.

I would really rather not have to do a factory rest, it's a real pain.
I'll give it a few days and see what happens.

Make sure Weather is set to sync at Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync

Sounds like you already did this but I didn't see mention of checking the actual weather option on that page. Just making sure.

Plan B:

Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Press the "All" tab > Scroll down to HTC Weather Sync Provider and press Clear Data

Reboot the phone just for good measure and see if that shakes it back to life.
