Even if what you (newsradio2261) say is true, any phone that works in England will not work on Verizon. I could be wrong on this, not familiar with UK services but I was under the impression they're all GSM.

Forget uk and usa, the ONLY difference to the phone is the way that ur usa phones work, cdma, and we have a sim card, the phones will be exactly the same,

I have allready said that it will look the same as the touch hd, same size,i would like to think it launces in the usa,very very soon, Whats the hold up?

Inner circle is on the HTC SNAP, its a way of creating favourites, and features on your phone, hence "inner circle" but the passion and bravo will have a more advanced version of this, and this will be really helpful.

there isnt anything else i can say about this phone,iv included everything i can think of, oh yea something else, but its not major, it will have wallpaper animation, nothing special, and i dont mean like the nexus, the ones iv seen have a floating feel to them,believe me its nothing to get excited about,

I have a question: Have you actually SEEN this phone, or did someone tell you about all of this information? And if you've actually seen/held the phone, can you confirm that it looks EXACTLY like the Touch HD or are you saying that it looks very similar to the Touch HD? I assume you are saying it's along the same lines as the Touch HD, not the same phone. Correct? So, assuming it's not the exact same phone as the Touch HD, could you confirm that it is, indeed, the phone that is pictured in the leaked European HTC brochure? Here is the pictures that we have. Just tell us which one, if any, of these pictures it looks like assuming you've actually SEEN the phone in person. Thanks chap!

Yeah, what's your source of this information? I mean, do you work for HTC, a mobile carrier? Have you seen or held the phone? Will it look like the Bravo from the HTC brochure, or more like the Nexus One?

As i've stated before i follow the feeds on these new early android phones, and basically, its been pretty much confirmed that HTC's only focus right now is the Nexus One. It is HTC's pride and glory as it will be completely 'googlized' and will only be avaliable on the t-mobile network (figures since they have been together the longest).. so as far as i know and what i've been reading, goodbye htc rumors for verizon this early in the year. They also stated the the droid eris will become quote "long in the tooth" once this new device is launched.

Bigger news is with motorola (the only company that seems to have any relationship right now with CES and verizon) will be releasing a new android based phone for AT&T with oled screen and physical keyboard but will lack many basics such as 2.0 OS, instead running on 1.6.

For us verizon users, it is also stated this morning that motorola "may announce" (yes they will) a second android phone for verizon wireless. forget about the droid devour, this phone is rumored to have ONLY a soft keyboard, no hardware keyboard. Could this be the sholes that have been rumored? images have been leaked so be sure to check it out. the phone is also supposed to pack a punch with 800mhz and has a more consumer friendly design with rounded edges. Also comes packed with a 8megapixel camera! Earlier reports said that the next motorola phone was going to be 'little brother droid', the devour. Boy, would this be a laughing stock. That thing belongs somewhere in toys 'r us!

the fact that htc is now moving away from its only 'google phone' to compete with the world and instead teaming with t-mobile is a bit sad for many do not like motorola. but its going to be something we may have to live with for awhile.

This is heartbreaking for me because I was going to pick up the Droid today (30th), but now I want to see about this new motorola phone coming to verizon. If its the sholes and the leaked pictures are correct, it looks like a very nice device running 2.1.

Verizon/Motorola will be holding the announcement on the 6th of January (day after the release of the nexus one, who would have guessed). I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I hope some of you find this information interesting. if you want more information, go to google and look up new verizon android phone (might even want to throw motorola in there) and look at the LATEST news.

I guess we've been hit by some good and bad news.

One question for people who usually follow CES, when an announcement of a new phone is put up, how long does it usually take for the phone to hit the market?

No i have not seen the phone,i have seen the OFFICAL documents, not roadmap.i can guarentee you 100% its the same size, and style (apart from optic mouse) as the Touch HD, everything is the same,

i could of posted so much info on all other phones which are out now, take the tatto, everyone was wrong on that, and i just had to keep quiet,the reason why im talking about this hone is because im getting this phone,i cant wait.

You have to understand these roadmaps are put out for a reason, thats why im here letting you guys know whats really happening, whats really bugging me at the moment is that i was shown a brand new phone, cant remember if android or windows mobile,it was small, and came in 3 colours, thinking about it, im sure it must of been windows mobile,i love android, and if it would of been android, i would remember,

Are you 100% it's coming to the United States, and if so, did you see the documents where it says or were you told when it would be released in the U.S.? Veez you have to take that post with a large grain of salt. HTC cannot solely focus on the N1 and get the rest of their line rolling. Yeah Verizon has some motorola phones, they also have some HTC phones. Hell they only have 1 motorola smart phone listed and thats the Droid. But they have 5 HTC smart phones.

Motorola is not having a joint announcement with Verizon, its just motorola as they're announcing a phone for AT&T as well.
Kraze is going off the idea that the Passion is the N1 and hence no Passion for Verizon. That wouldn't mean no Incredible, PassionC or Dragon (though I think the Dragon is the N1)
The rest is just bad conjecture.

This changes nothing for me, in UK we will get this phone march/April, I'm sure u will get this in January, I need to know everything about this phone,I can assure you the official documentation classed it as Passion,for us, Bravo UK, us release date early January, nothing will change for Europe release date,worst case scenario they both get launched in march/April.

OK, now that's more of what I was wanting to hear. That the official documentation classed it as Passion for the U.S. and as the Bravo for UK. Whether that's true or not, there's really no solid proof, but that's at least more of what kind of information I was wanting to hear.

If this phone is the Passion, could it be that PERHAPS the Incredible is going to be a 4.3 inch screen that comes later in the year? I, personally, want a 3.7 inch screen phone, but it would make sense that something named the Incredible would have to be, well, incredible. Let's just hope this guy is the real deal and that's he's really seen some documentation. If so, this is just more somewhat unofficial confirmation (if that even makes sense) that what we're all thinking is coming is, sure enough, coming.

For example, I could tell you right now that I KNOW FOR A FACT that the HTC HD2 is coming to Verizon and will have Android 2.1 on it and you would really have no real reason to believe me.

I understand what you're saying and I know YOU believe what you're saying and only YOU know if you're being honest or not. However, that gives us no real reason to believe you or take you seriously. It's nothing against you and we're not calling you a liar, we just need more than words. We need proof, and until we get REAL...OFFICIAL proof that what you're saying is fact, then we have no other choice but to be skeptical and take what you're saying with a grain of salt. I think he's saying that whatever come out, it will not be called the "Incredible." It will be called something else and "Incredible" is only the code name. Therefore, the "Incredible" phone will never exist.

I never expected it to be called Incredible anyway, but that's the name we have for now.

I don't care. I just hope whatever it is, it comes soon.

!@#$% Stupid Verizon rollercoaster. I'm going to sleep. Wake me on Jan 10th and let me know what phone we're getting in January, if we end up getting something. At this point, I'd sign up for a 5 year contract if they'd give me the phone for free. I've wasted WAY too much time since the end of July (I was big on the Omnia II until about September/October when the Sprint Hero piqued my interest and I headed in the direction of Android). I'd like to spend the next couple years not wasting my life waiting for a dumb phone (er, smart phone ).

Please look at a Touch HD phone, now add optic mouse, and you have the passion,

getting back to the incredible, do you honestly believe a phone would be released with that name, come on think about it,,,its not the best name to have,

Just to let you know the passion and bravo were originally going to be called the other way round, bravo usa, passion uk, and if im not mistaken the salsa is no longer going ahead.

OK...that is MUCH more clearly written and easier to understand. So...here is my question... How do you know that it will look like the Touch HD with an optical track pad if you haven't seen the phone, just documents? Are you telling us that you REALLY don't know what the phone will look like? You are just trying to give us an idea of what it might look like based on specifications that you've seen in documents or has someone you know actually seen the phone and they've told you that it looks like the Touch HD with an optical track pad?
