Hi there,
I've rooted my Desire with the LeeDroid ROM + A2SD+ but am facing a series of issues with my new 16GB SD card.

1) First of all, if I perform a nandroid backup and then restore the contents from the standard 4GB to the 16GB, the phone keeps rebooting repeatedly without getting past the LeeDroid Ascii Android logo.

2) If I do a flat install of Lee's ROM, it works up to a point where I can use the phone & even browse the market, but I can't actually download anything. The second an app is downloaded, it reboots.

3) If I clear all the caches and re-install the ROM yet again, it will sometimes go a bit further than this and actually allow me to download an app...but then later along the line while using the phone it will eventually return to the same rebooting cycle referenced in 1.)

BTW, when I mean reboot, I mean it takes me back to that mock desktop loading scene with the RAM diagnostics,etc...

I've done the partitioning, rooting & ROM installation process correctly. FAT32 = 15.5GB, EXT2/3 = 600MB, LINUX-SWAP = 40MB.

It works fine on the standard 4GB SD card, just not on the 16GB.

Anybody else out there having similar issues?

flatten the card and start again with gparted IMO

I reformatted & re-partitioned at least 10 times. I first partitioned with gParted and then used ROM Manager (with a 0MB linux-swap). Each time it caused a reboot as soon as the phone tried to write to the card.

Anyway, I sent it back. Online store I bought it from refused to refund me so they said they'd conduct some tests and then issue me a new one.
