screen protector

so im gettin the optimus m in a few days like i posted in other threads.

anyways ive read threads about screen protectors and whether or not i need one. so i was wondering what kind of luck has people had with and without protection (mainly without seeing that i know the screen will be fine with one on) my ipod touch has a screen protector on it but there really is no need for one. is this phone the same way or is the screen really easy to scatch?

what do you mean by word "easy"? I always thought that screen protector is for protection against accidents. There is no marital in the world that can not be scratched. Better be safe than sorry. Its only 1-2 bucks on ebay.

"easy" could be defined differently. it really depends on how you treat your phone. Some folks tend to drop their phone more often than others. etc.

At last, I don't think it scratches easily but I have screen protector. (I owned phone without protector for a week)

ok on a serious note, i wanted to basically how durable the screen is. ive had devices that scratched with my fingernail and other devices ive taken keys too and couldn't scratch. i wanna know that if i scratch my screen protector i can take it off and if i forget to get another one for a week or two that i will be fine. i just want other users opinions of how durable they think the screen is.

No matter how durable the screen is it's good to have a screen protector for if you drop it or put wrong things in your pocket with it. You can always take it off and as long as the protector isn't too messed up you can leave it on as long as you like until you get a new one.

the phone comes with a screen protector installed.

are you talking about an EXTRA one on top of the factory screen protector?

or are you talking about removing the factory screen protector and going bare?

i really? i didnt know that. i guess i wont have to deal with the screen for a while this is good to know.
