i9000 2.2.1 app T&A and app settings

Hi there

I'll try to keep it short, i have an i9000 with 2.2.1 rooted that doesn't remember some apps settings and accepted Terms and Agreements messages if I close them with the task manager. However if I close the apps using the back button they remember them. When I first flashed to 2.2.1 and rooted, I don't recall ever having this problem even though I closed all apps with the task manager.

Do not use Task Managers and you will be fine. This is a powerful phone and there is no need to close apps.

When I say task manager, I just mean the default task manager that comes through Samsung apps. And yes it's a very powerful phone but unfortunately the battery isn't, so thats why I close apps with the task manager. Any Idea on why some apps don't remember accepted T&As?

Are you sure they have not ben updated in the meantime? It is the only time you may see T&As after initial setup.

I used to use task killers and never had a problem like you.

Even if it is built into Android, it still is a task killer.
