Switching system apks

Using a file manger, is it possible to switch out and add system apks from other roms and themes to aospCmod? As long as they were designed for the HeroC?

Yes, You need not use a file manager, simply open the Zip Rom, and add your APK to the System/App folder, same if you wanted to remove one

Could the same be said about flip animations and things of that nature? What if I only like certain parts of a theme or ROM and wanted to add them to the latest version, would that be possible? Ad long as I put them in the right folder and remove the originals?

I would use Root Explorer for this. ES and AStro and other leave some files Hidden -

So I used file manager to install the quickoffice.apk file that was still in my "fresh Removed ApKs" folder from when I had my fresh ROM, and it won't open. Everytime I open quickoffice it force closes.

Any ideas?
