Hello
I just got my Optimus V phone. It is great.. I'm having trouble with the account button. When I hit it I'm supposed to be able to see how many minutes I've used etc... But I'm just sent to the VM website. meaning I would have to log-in with phone number and pin. My other VM phone ....Rumor 2 ... I just hit the key and minutes used shows right up... no logging in. What am I doing wrong .. Thanks

I'm curious if anyone is able to check their account through the red account button on their phone.

When I try it...it takes me to the virgin mobile home page but it is not formatted correctly for the phone...the entry boxes to sign in to your account are covered over by another part of the web page...so you can't sign in! I'm using the stock browser.

I'd like to check more than just minutes. Like account activity entries. I've been doing it previously online through my computer but wanted to try out their nice shiny red button on the phone.

Yeah that account app is pretty worthless, and why a mobile service provider does not have a mobile site is beyond me,i use the minute checker app.for checking min available, right from the phone.

Wow works great just downloaded. I might attempt to root it so i can get rid of all these bloat apps i dont use like the my account
but this a great app

Before rooting the phone do some research,as you will soon find the rooting and custom Rom community is not very helpful to newbies, with issues, also keep in mind, doing this voids the warranty on the phone.

They were very helpful to me. The tons of info posted through the custom rom communities was extremely helpful. There is more info posted about custom roms than there is about the stock phone, so I think the community has been very helpful!

Yes true, but not so true, if you run into an issue then you are either ignored like the plaque, told to search through hundred of endless posts.so in final yes the guides, downloads are there, just not the troubleshooting support.
