Root Creating a boot animation, start to finish.

Sorry guys I am swamped. Next day off is 9th.

To change your settings in your zip program you will need to open the program and find the options or tools settings.

Also....the above tool/app is for pushing a working animation. Does nothing to help in creation

Yes I understand go to setting I did when I do in 7zip go into tools and setting and doesnt give me an option anywhere to not compress. Just trying to figure our your directions where you said you must right click the two folders with the text file and go to make a .zip file. How is this suppose to do this without compressing. Can you please let me know because have been trying to figure out this whol process which I did already took me day and half and now the only thing thats stopping me is this stupid setting to not compress.

Thats why when I load my boot animations now Iam getting a black screen

ok think I made it to long. When I booted up it did not even get close to the end of part0 let alone get to part1 (my loop) which is weird cause the boot animation I had before had aroud 400 png files if you added part0 and part1 which is what mine is..With mine part0 is around 300 and part1 is like 70 pngs..... I think it might be they were played quicker in the animation I had before and mine is from video clips so they play slower .... any thoughts.. I really hate to shorten mine as I took a lot of time to compile and convert all the files let alone find ones I liked..............

Yeah that was me two days ago. And any help on the storing and without compression and another steps to get finished .zip with out being compressed

I had not answered this yet as I had not done it my self.. Now that I have made my own here ya go..... first of your desc text has to be formated to fit your bootanimation style ie some just contain part0 and some have a par0 and a par1. some also have a looping part and I had one a while back that had part0 -part7....

I am not to sure on making the desc file to match your bootanimation but if you do enough reserch you can find one that has already been made to match your style

Now as far as compression. Open 7zip and navigate it to C:\ desktop. have your part0 and part1 (and any other parts ) and your desc file on your desktop multi select all of them then drag them over the 7zip window and drop them. A new window will pop up and in this window you will have a button that says compression level click it and select store (which is no compression )

whats in the desc file again? wont that control the speed. I know Ed said fps doesnt matter but wont that affect it if you have a large amount of pngs?

Well I think I tried to make a movie and if it played at the speed to get through the whole zip... I think it would not look good just a bunch of flashes . Meaning All the clips I found an added would just run to quick and you really would not be able to see them... I think for the style of animation I want I can not be greedy and have like 15 different clips. But there is things I can take out. I PLAY with it more tonight when I get off work

Badass ok thanks allot again this the first reponse I finally gotten after asking this on other threads more than once. So your my problem could be the desc. Iam going first try stpring the files the proper way than if I get the same result I know its the desc. The desc format Iam using is the same one Mr Ed posted.

Now After I do that I have the 2 folders and the desc text in the 7.zip I than multi select them in there and than right click and than add them to desktop.zip. I did that got a 7zip file on my comp and than I right clicked that and add to desktop.zip to zipped folder. Is this right or wrong.

I can tell your just a bit excited. And I would also insanely going crazy if I had Optimus Prike going from the badest looking Semi into a transformer for boot screen but can because you skipped my question on the next so I can accomplish this as well lol.

Nice looks good and the lightning at end was badass. So can you explain the steps taken after you put the files in 7zip

Iam going to post my boot screens so everyone can see the insaness lol

I already answered your question but i will say it again..

1) multi select your three files
2) drag them to the 7zip window
3) drop the files
4) in the window that popped up click the compresion button
5) select store
6)hit "ok"
7)rename the zip it creates to bootanimation.zip
8)put in on your sd card
