Just watched the latest Star Trek movie on 3G. No buffering, no pixelating, no issues.

Uhura never looked hotter.

Also, used my $12 quickshippers extended battery (3500 mAh). Started w/100% at the beginning of the movie and ended w/68% after a 2 hour movie. Not bad.

LOL...Nice. I don't even have netflix account. Happy I could spread some good vibes on a stormy night, where I am.

Once I get 4g, I might be getting netflix and dumping my internet/dish and just use my phone for everything.

Every time I try and open the app while on WiFi I get: "Problem loading Netflix, please restart application later. (13001)"! If I open in 3g it opens fine. then I que up a movie, hit pause, and then turn on WiFi, and then go back and finish what I'm watching.
Anyone else getting that error?

i just signed in and watched the intro to some random episode (L&O was already in my queue from my acct) and it looked pretty darn good.... im impressed

not avaial on the nook yet, but at least you can have it on your evo

I only bought my Evo a few months ago. I knew it was almost a year old but after researching I found it had a proven track record. I'm very happy with this phone! Now Netflix gives me one more reason to love it

Errr... what exactly is wrong with it?

No disc queue.
Terribly limited suggestions (I want the 'watch it again' list).
Poorly implemented instant queue view.
Search function lags.
Output sound level is too low (max volume is decent but not where it should be imo).
Fast forward and rewind are poor.
It doesn't work with the website (I should be able to browse and hit 'play' on the website and have it launch the player/app).


The original ipad netflix app was AMAZING. I mean, it was everything that could have been asked for. Then they 'updated' it to a garbage mobile version. For several months since that update the ratings have all been terrible. But now the ratings are starting to get better just because all the new people just don't know how good it used to be, and could be again. Anyways, what we have on our phones is a version that pales in comparison to the new garbage ipad app.
