I am so (embarassingly) new at this....!

Just got my HTC Desire. I am so new at this. Everyone in my family either has a Blackberry or an iPhone - I was the last to jump on board and get a "smart phone".

The problem is.... I have a million questions. I can't seem to find most of the answers on HTC's website (which surprises me).

The first thing I tried to do was download a Tim Horton's app --- but it only seems to be available for Blackberry or iPhone

This is going to be a wild ride..... I hope I can handle this!!

Actually, I have a question.... when Telus hooked up my HTC Desire, all of my Facebook contacts were entered into my phone list. Yikes! I don't want them there - I never phone my FB contacts!! I've tried to delete them but can't figure out how.

Any kind soul out there that can help me? I'd so, so appreciate it!

Best bet is to post in your phones section and ask the users most familiar with your device

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Go into your facebook app and remove your credentials. If Facebook doesn't log in then you don't get the contacts. If you want access to Facebook on the phone then you'll likely need to go into the people app (contacts) and tell it to not display facebook contacts.
