I've heard reports of users not being able to use the mirroring function with the Netflix app, as far as the DX2 is concerned. I've managed to get it working on my DX using the Real HDMI app.

I got it to work with HDMI, though it was 4:3. Not sure if it was squeezed, or cut. Either way, between that and the poor overall quality on the TV it wasn't really worth watching unless you are away from home or what not.
On the phone itself the quality isn't bad. And quality of netflix on the ps3 is real nice in comparsion.
Yeah the netflix app is hit or miss on if its a solid watchable quality on my phone, but its still good to have, but ill contribute that mainly to the fact its not an official app yet. Also Ill agree the hdmi is not good at all

Cache managment to hardware and server are much better on PS3 and 360 with Netflix, since not the same resource issue for memory and power. A LOT of the video is precached and flows while streaming with those devices and PCs.
A portable device would choke with the same set-up.
