Help Eris calendar problem

My calendar is no longer synching w/ the Google calendar. I have read all the similar posts regarding the Droid Eris calendar and have tried them. They do work. However, each time I re-synch the google calendar everything is lost again. Can anyone offer advice? Thank you!

Did you do all on the things in post number 2 in this thread, linked here: http://androidforums.com/eris-suppo...-google-calendar-disappeared.html#post2712705 (including create a secondary calendar and move all of your events to that one, rather than your primary calendar?)
