Root ACS Syndicate Video Recording Issue

The last 3 versions of Syndicate Frozen Rom have had a video recording problem and I couldn't find a fix for it. On max settings it will continously say, 'Recording failed...' after about 8 seconds of recording. Sometimes it might make it to 30 seconds. Rebooting does not help and I've tried re-flashing, etc.

in fact, my wife and i both have Epics and we're both running the latest rom, but this has been a problem since at least 2 roms ago.

Anyone have a fix or now how we can avoid this? The problem seems to disappear if I set the quality low.

we're already on the latest rom, but that aside, each new version has a generic list of fixes, one of which says video recording

Did you get anything fixed on this??? I was having this problem with EC05 (Froyo stock)... I went to the gingerbread leak ef02 and it has seemed to went away...But if there is a fix to it... it would be nice to know for the future..
